Those that use different measuring sticks. One stick for measuring you. Another stick to measure themselves by.

In bygone times traders had two measuring sticks. A long one for buying, a short one for selling. The reason is obvious. They obtained more fabric when buying off a wholesaler and saw more profit when using a short measure to sell with.

Untold criticisms flow in your direction relating to your behaviour, whilst their behaviour is never scrutinised. The yarn traders.

If I am late because of a traffic accident, they say I should have left earlier. If they are late, their reason is valid.

You may have heard of ‘catfishing’, aka not looking anything like the image in your photos. Some are accused of ‘hat fishing’, wearing a hat in photos to disguise any hair loss. Some wear lots of makeup though which enhances their looks considerably. Some take their photos from just the right angle. Maybe that is angling – fishing for sure.

Yarn traders will go out of their way to deceive, they present themselves in the best way possible, whilst showing disdain for others that do something similar to get past barriers.

I stop myself. I do find it hard to stop myself. I consider what I have been like over the years. When I stop myself before going on the offensive, I think about whether I am being a little hypocritical. Have I made a habit of something very similar? Raising an issue with someone looks better when I am sure that I am not as guilty as they.
