I gave one of these precious bottles to my labourer. He drank some and complained.
I should have bought a cheap nasty chemical alternative for him.
Some people gauge wine by the alcohol content. 13% is perfunctorily. 11% is disappointing. 15% is most welcome.
The body, the fullness matters not.
Many a snob informs us that they don’t watch TV.
TV is beneath them.
However, lots of TV is high art. Some TV that is. Some TV programmes or films shown on TV need non-philistine appraisals. Some do not appreciate the effort that went into each scene. The angle, the acting, the set design, the framing, the colour settings on the cameras, the imagination, the thought that went into it. Sometimes the story too. The pose, the confidence, the subtlety, the nuance displayed by the voluptuous actors.
The screenplay, the writing, the cleverness. All of that and more pass people by. It shoots over their heads. Those that claim that they are above TV are living without living to the full. Filter out the trash TV if you so choose but denigrating the art shows ignorance. Unaware.
Some of us live. Many of us simply exist. Some pretend. Does it matter if we all end up dead someday regardless? The answer to that is best found before it is too late to live more. More fully, more more.
